I recently started investigating a site called indi.com. This is a buzzing talent discovery site that boasts the slogan “Be a Star and Find a Star”.
The site promotes multiple self submission contests every week that generate interest from various talent pools. They highlight contests for everything from songwriting and improv to poetry and cooking!
I have entered a couple of contests so far to see what the hubbub is all about. It seems like the site gets quite a bit of foot traffic as I’ve had 3,000 views without a lick of self promotion on my part. I’m looking forward to doing some more posts as it’s a great way to flex those acting muscles and get some exposure at the same time.
